For military service members leaving active duty and recently separated veterans, the USO Pathfinders program is there to assist. A USO Pathfinder Scout is a military member’s main contact and personal guide through the process, assisting with developing a plan for the military individual and family, and achieving their transition goals.
With service members from every branch located across the country, the USO has on-site Pathfinders programs at 14 locations in the US. In addition, there are online and virtual services, including the Action Plan app and Resume Engine. With the guidance of the Scout, a service member can access all the helpful information in preparation for civilian life. Everything from assistance translating military skills and experience to a civilian resume, to contacts within a network of employers looking to hire veterans, to explaining veterans benefits is available.
The USO has a network of national and local organizations across the country to assist veterans returning to civilian life in their communities. When you’re ready, just reach out.
